I swear it was such a hassle trying to get creative what with Bolvar keeling over. But I did it. I hope the forcefulness doesn't ruin the gift art too badly T_T
I was in a really good mood until I got to my house and discovered the whole place reeks of weed. I really need a new roommate situation.
Actually, I'm also Deaf, and Use ASL ( American Sign Language), of course, i am here to help you, if you need to know what is sign for any word, whatever. Feel free to contact me or post this a leave comments.

I usually either fingerspell it or sign 'trouble'. I wonder if there's a more formal sign for it, though?
Thanks in advance.
Here's another tutorial for ya! Hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving! <3

Because you needed someone to tell you one more thing to buy, that's why!
We all know Christmas albums are largely a manifestation of the larger cultural over-commercialization of what could, theoretically, be a meaningful holy festival season. The songs are recorded no later than summer, and they virtually all sound the same. Case in point: Bob Dylan's new album. Sure, his crypt-keeper voice makes the tracks "distinctive" (read: possibly creepier than that Victoria's Secret TV commercial he did a few years back), the instruments and the way they're played could have been ripped from almost any other seasonal album (because, seriously, non-believers like Jewel and Streisand have "Christmas" albums for sale, too) in the past seventy years.
However, if you find yourself stuck in traffic this month, or you're stuck at a mall job that condemns you to hours of the same smelly "classics" for the next month, you'll be more than thankful to have that Bela Fleck & the Flecktones CD ready to go. Released in 2008 under the title "Jingle All the Way," it's anything but normal. Anyone already familiar with the group knows they're the world's first (probably still only?) progressive jazz ensemble fronted by a banjoist. But on this album, you get not only banjo and jazz, but also some never-out-of-season Tuvan throat singing. (Google or YouTube throat singing either before or after your trip to Amazon to order the Flecktones album, in case you're not familiar with this Buddhist monkish technique of vocally producing simultaneous tones). And if you didn't already have this album, feel free to thank me later.

I decided to join here since even though I sign, it's not my first language and I have no idea how to teach it to a baby! I hope I can help some of you who have older kids or who wish to advance more to get better at signing, too

Disclaim Her: So, I've been off and on considering writing a side-story that shows the Founders in their various Houses, since some people have asked about that. What are people's thoughts?
Does anyone read these Disclaim Hers? I mean, we've already shown that no one reads the A/Ns at the bottom... (Except the people who never review, and you lot don't count. So :P )
A/N: I can't TELL you how much I enjoyed everyone's guesses for Harry's date. Admittedly, Sarah – who practically everyone and their mother seemed to guess – was my original fall-back, if I couldn't come up with someone more exciting.
Alas, I came up with someone more exciting. And no one guessed it. *mad cackle*

Two decades later, I get this pinball collection for the XBox, and it has Pinbot on it, which I've often considered to be one of the most fun tables ever made. There's just one problem - the outlanes are fucking magnetic. There's a large space between the outlanes and the flipper lanes that gives all kinds of room for you to lose the ball if it even looks at them funny.
But worst of all is how often you lose the ball right off the bat. You shoot the ball, it goes up into a little room with jet bumpers, and if it bounces out at just the right speed, it lands in the left outlanes, and no amount of table shaking will stop it. That jet-to-outlane combination is the cause of about 50% of my ball losses in that game. Completing all of the table goals for gamer score involves reaching the sun, which seems like an absolute improbability ordained only by an act of an unknown deity.
So even if no one quite understands what I'm getting on about, I'm just a bit disturbed that I'm 27 years old, and I just about chucked a goddamned XBox controller into a wall because of a fucking pinball game.
** Outlanes: the gates on the far left and right sides of the flippers. When your ball goes down them, it goes to the drain.

There always seems to be fairly well done tutorials for various Windows programs and how to cap out there over the years, but when I switched over to Mac over a year ago it took me a while to find all the programs I use now because there was no guide like this to simply follow. I had to learn through trial and error and searching and searching for the program I wanted for each task. There was no step by step how-to. Now that I have a set method, I figured it would only seem reasonable to share.
So for anyone interested in switching to Mac, new to Macs, or for the occasional dual Mac-PC user, this is THE guide to all things screencapping. I'll try not to get too technical, I want this to be pretty easy to comprehend.

Replacing engine mount did not stop the shaking. Had hoped I wouldn't need to replace the control arm bushing right away since the labor costs are huge for ripping the underside out to put it in. Went to have oil changed over weekend - oil change guy points out to me while the car is raised that the bushing is totally shot. And by the way, your transmission pan is leaking. Buddha.
I seem to recall that at some point before buying a car that I had seen someone else talking about their own car expenses and replied, "Man, car ownership = money." I really wish I weren't so right about that.
I've noticed that sleeping pills do not help a person to fall asleep. They help a person to stay asleep. I go to bed thinking, "I'm not sleepy, I'll try some of these and see if they help me shut my eyes." Not only do I not fall asleep right away, but it triples the difficulty of getting out of bed in the morning and wrecks me for the rest of the morning. Fuck you, sleeping pills.
Three pounds of those burgers that Omaha Steaks sent me made a nice chili. Though the size of the recipe I went with to use 3 lbs. of burger means that I'm eating chili lunches for a wee... wait, no, Thanksgiving. I'm eating chili twice a day for half a week. :X

The last two episodes have been hilarious fun, fluff pieces (and Supernatural strangely does fluff and humor /really/ well) in the middle of dark and dire, with a very nice tie-in to the overall dark and broody arching plot (Changing Channels especially - holy cow, was that ending awesome!).
This week was pure Supernatural Important Shit Happens and You're Not Going to Like Most of It. Rips my /heart/ out.
A very interesting post on Supernatural as tragedy (in the literary sense.)
I love this show possibly more than I have ever loved a show before. Yes, even more than BSG. Except maybe its first season. Maybe.
