So, my "due date" has come and gone. I had it figured for the 28th, and my midwife figured the 21st, so maybe somewhere between.
R keeps asking me, "Anything happening?" I have to tell him, "No, not yet." However, I'm getting excited. At first I was severely ambivalent about another little one, but as the time draws near, and I'm more reassured about the Roswell hospital, I am getting more and more excited. Another little baby. True, it means my sleep schedule will probably be complete crap again, especially if I'm chasing Will, too, but it's worth it.
My midwife is so awesome. She gets forgetful of what we've told her if she hasn't written it down, but she's busier than Thalia was, (I think) and the stress of a move from her birth center to the OBGYN practice probably has stressed her somewhat, so it's understandable.
I'm feeling more able to relax than I was last time around, so I'm hoping for a better labor. My midwife also suggested that if I get into that pattern of no progress, to take some Tylenol, a warm bath and sleep. I'll either progress, or slow down completely. I won't tire out my system like I did last time.
78 hours is too long to be in labor.
Anyway, I'm excited, but I can't make it happen, so I'm waiting.
I hope R can get my music out of storage before anything happens...

I went to the midwife yesterday, and got an ultrasound. Here's the pictures they gave me. Behind a cut.
( Ultrasound pics )
Apparently the little one was not in a position to see gender. I wasn't sure I wanted to know for sure anyway. (The readers aren't foolproof, either, I've heard.) I still maintain it's a girl, but if it's a boy, we'll have to see. No boy name picked out yet.
We left Will with his grandma, and apparently, things went alright. He got a mosquito bite right underneath his eye, so that was kind of annoying. I got my diabetes test done, and don't know results yet.
After drinking that juice and then her drawing blood, she recommended I eat some protein. So, we stopped by Alby's and got a lunchables for me, and some snacks for R. It worked. We ate a picnic on a park picnic table, reminding me of our wedding day.
