Started reading a blog awhile back called "The Tardis Traveler."  She is in an interesting place, and I love reading her stuff. Every time I do, I get convicted, encouraged, or both.  So, when she says this, and it's what my mind's been saying for days, but trying to deny, I stop, and blink, and go, okay, message received.  I'm trying to work on writing a little each day. Not just RP, though that's made my writing more varied, interesting, pointed... Thanks those of you who've tolerated my style. 
On my book, on my whofic, on anything else... I've got to write.  It's like Jeremiah's fire.  Perhaps why I've been picking up R's grumpiness again, or more than usual. I've got to remember.  Write some every day. Little choices make big changes. Write a little on my book, edit a little, and before long, the thing is written.  Discipline, even in this, sucks, but it needs done.  

Speaking of discipline, sleep calls.   

I started working on my book again today. I have to figure out where to take it, but it's coming, slowly. I really want to see this come all the way around and actually finish a story. I have ideas, but they're nebulous. So, I set the thing up and put it away for a while. But I still feel the need to write write write. So, This is what the journal is for, right?

I've been reading a YWAMer's journal I ran onto through Technocrati, I think. Anyway, she's a writer who is from Canada, serving in Scotland. I feel a kinship with her, because of the writing, the YWAM experience, and some of her other references. For example, her blog is called "Tardis Traveler."   So, needless to say, she seems to be a kindred spirit.   She mentioned the Celtic Daily office, which I found and bookmarked.  I may see if that meets some of the need I've been experiencing for a simple form to hang on to for worship. 

I also found another kindred spirit on my game.  Well, several actually, but one of them actually knows the music I listen to, and understands some of the other stuff I'm going through. So, we've decided to exchange Skype names, and maybe that'll go somewhere. That would be really nice.  What would be super awesome, sometime, which I thought of, would be the two of us and possibly including tadiera, as some of the lines cross there, too.  Dunno.  We'll see how it goes.  

I'm spending a lot of time on my game, as I say, but I feel like I'm supposed to be there.  Not just to help keep things going on in character, which I do (my character helped start a bar brawl and wasn't even there), but also because of these connections I'm making.   I'm really enjoying it, and maybe being helpful here and there. Who knows.  

Sounds like we're going to go on our trip the week after the 4th, because R's boss says, "No vacation fo you" on the 4th.   It'll be tight, because his compensation check doesn't come for another little while after that. But, if we can cinch this week and next a little, we'll be okay.  R is really excited, and I am too.  It sounds like a perfect vacation for us.  We're strange, but it works.
